Young and dynamic research scholars and young faculty members are welcome for Oral/Poster Presentation in 9th NIPER (RBL)-CSIR-CDRI Symposium. Abstracts of completed work are to be submitted only and abstract received till 9 March 2017 will be considered for oral/poster presentation.
All submissions shall be in WORD FORMAT and word limit for all abstracts is 250 words. Indicate your presentation preference (oral/ poster) when submitting your abstract. The final decision about oral/poster presentation will stay with the scientific committee, though attempts will be made to honor your choice. Additions/alterations to the submitted abstracts will not be entertained.
Abstract should be strictly prepared in following format (abstract template) to be submitted on abstract portal (link here) or can be send via e mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Guidelines for Oral/Posters Presentation
REGISTRATION is mandatory for the presenting author of poster
Only for abstracts selected for oral presentation. Selected participants for oral presentation will be informed through e mail by 10 March 2017. Presenters will be given 10 minutes to present their research if selected for an oral presentation: 7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for questions/discussion. Speakers should rehearse their presentation and remain within the allotted time. Microsoft PowerPoint is highly recommended, and LCD projectors and computers will be available. Bring your presentation on a CD/ USB drives as backup. Try not to exceed a maximum of 15 slides (including your title and Thank you). The Microsoft PowerPoint file of your presentation should be pre-loaded onto computers in Symposium Hall.
Poster Presentation Layout
Use a simple font (Times New Roman) and make sure the letters aren't too small. Use contrasting colors in the poster, and not too many. Highlight the essential topics of the poster. Keep a nice legend with your graphs/figures. You can let your results be known by using a header of graphs/figures. Always make a test print of your poster. You can give your audience a handout or printed sheet of paper containing the main points and 'take home message' of your study but it's not mandatory.
THE SIZE OF THE POSTER SHOULD STRICTLY BE NOT MORE THAN 4 FT (120 CM) IN HEIGHT BY 3 FT (90 CM) IN WIDTH.
